Dizzy won't budge...?

I've got my 351 tore completely apart. All that's left, is pull the freeze plugs, pull the dizzy and came. Timing chain and gears are off. The nut is off of the dizzy, but it will not turn. Take it, the motor has sat for 3 years. It seems you can turn the rotor but not the dizzy itself. Any tips in getting this thing out?

Yeah, piss poor design on Fords part to put an aluminum distributor into an iron block. The two metals dont like eachother at all. You can try soaking the hell out of it with something like BreakAway, PB Blaster or WD-40. Maybe also try a plumbers torch and lightly heat the iron block, NOT the distributor. You need the block to expand slightly NOT the aluminum distributor housing. Then try tapping lightly with a deadblow or rubber mallet to try and get it to start spinning in the block.

I used wd40 and soaked a dizzy for about an hour or two and then used a large open end wrench (1 1/8 or larger) to turn the dizzy untill it would spin freely and then i just pulled it outta the block.

I guess it depends on how badly its stuck in there. I've had them so corroded the heating trick was the only way.

Where at on the block? I"ve tried banging on this thing with a hammer and no luck. Torching it next!!

As close to the distrubutor area that you can get, they get siezed right toward the top of the block so as close to that area as possible.

Here's where I'm at. I got it half way, I've heated it and still not luck. I was able to get the cam out. I've also hit the back and put a small dent on the crank size, hope this can be fixed or won't hurt anything, it is small. Can I hit this from the bottom while the motor is upside down?
