Do Bullitt's need special lugnuts?

What kind of lugnuts are you using? it seems that my stock (96gt) lugnuts are too small? i mean they hold the wheel on, but i can see space in the lugnut hole still. hard to explain but if you could take a close up pic of them on your car i'd appreciate it, or if you know the correct lug nut for it

There are a lot of different type of lug nuts. Go to a tire shop and they will help you get the correct ones.

You need chrome cap type. That looks like ass...

i dont care how they look, i just need something that fits right. but yeah i guess i'll go to ford when i get a chance, i was just wondering if anyone knew before hand. thank anyway

Yeah they have the chrome cap type that are shaped like a bullit, those
ones you have came off some Taurus with hub caps I think....

they came off my 96 gt actually. but i have new ones from advance auto parts and its the same thing. they're too narrrow

the stock ones will work just fine

mustang tuning.com sells some noce looking chrome ones

Ditto, and I have a Bullitt so I know they will work

so what's the problem? the hole is bigger, no biggie, now you wont have any problem trying to insert any size socket/tire iron in there
