do i have a ford 8 inch or 9 inch

ok guys now im a little confused on my rear end. i have a 67 stang coupe. which was a straight 6 but now converted to a v8 when i bought it. how can i tell which rear enbd i have? the rear end is front loaded so im not sure whcih i have. how can i tell? it has 2.79 gear.

look at the bottom bolt, if you can get a socket on it straight on it's an 8 inch, if it's tucked up undert the housing so you would need a flex socket it's a 9 inch

I'll venture a guess that it is an 8" rear end. What do I have to lose, it's a 50/50 thing.
