Wondering if any of you guys know if i would need to get my car dyno tuned. I plan on going with the vortech v-2 sq kit for the 93 cobra. The car is stock, has longtubes, off road h and flowmasters, 76mm maf, accel coil just give you an idea of what the car has. I would really appreciate any input you guys got. thanks

Its usually a good idea to get a dyno tune, but there shouldn't be any danger in not getting one. The kits are designed to be run on a stock engine w.o a dyno tune. Once you start modifying it with different injectors, fuel pumps etc, then you really need a tune.

Nope won't change anything, go with a 255lph an the T-rex and you will be fine. I would suggest swapping out your stock computer for a A9L computer and get a new MAF calibrated for the larger inj. The stock 93 Cobra computer becomes a restriction...

Save your Cobra computer they are very hard to find, we wrapped ours up and put in away on the shelf.

Yes, you do! At the least you could just get a few air/fuel runs with no tuning. Usually costs around $75. It's always a good idea to make sure your air/fuel is right on target. You spend $1000's on your car, whats a few hundred more to protect your investment!

Tune it or install your own AFR meter. You gamble your engine if you don't know what's going on with your Boost, Fuel Pressure, and air fuel ratio. For a couple hundred bucks you eliminate all the guess work.
