do I need new push rods?

When i put my tfs stage 2 cam in my car this year will i need a new size pushrod or will stock length be fine? sorry if this is a retarded question. im new at this. im also putting ported e7 heads and 1.6 roller rockers in as well.. just incase that makes a difference. thanks.

The most accurate method to answer your question and KNOW for yourself is to install one set and hand crank the engine while watching your rocker tip to valve stem pattern.
You can also see right away if you have any gross misalignment with the cam lob at half it's lift/travel and see if your rocker is perpendicular to the valve stem.

My opinion is to buy a fresh set of gt40 heads. They will offer you more value and performance than a set of ported E7 heads.

I also suggest you convert to stud mounted rockers in either case. Not required, but you have to admit you're trying to increase performance/power yet still use OE, stock parts. They were not designed, nor intended for the new setup.

the heads are studded. ive been trying to find some gt40s but no luck so far. thanks for the info on the rods.
