Do rear ends perfectly swap from 65-70?

I understand the width of 65 is shorter than 69-70 and the spring perch spacing on the rear is different. But do the 65's interchange with the 67-68s?
Are they the same overall width and same spring perch location?

The perches are all the same. And will bolt right up.

67-70 are about 1" wider on each side than the 65/66

67-70 are the same.

I have a '59 9" (similar to a 65/66) in my 67

Yes but you'll have to use the 65/66 spring perches and u-bolts to do the swap.

Aren't they the same for an 8-inch? Just asking...

The perch locations are the same. Its the taper of the axle housing, versus a straight across tube, that dictates what U bolts to use.

I know, but the outer ends of the 65/66 9-inch, the tapered part...is it the same OD as the 8-inch which is not tapered?

Sorry. I meant to say spring plates and u-bolts. I think the tubes on a 65/66 are 2 1/4" in diameter and the 67's are 2 3/4" in diameter where the u-bolts connect. I think this is correct info but I've been wrong before.
