i just bought some alpine type s speakers for the doors and rear tray and i put pioneer speakers in the dash ,but they sound ok in normal listining but if i crank it it sounds bad and it shouldnt .
most coaxials have a softer "surround" so they can react to music faster, so no break in period. Some subs have a break in period of 10-20 hours to "loosen" up. I dont know it if its true or not, but most of our reps that sell us merchandise all have the "story"
Your dash speaker sound worse becaue they are too small and probably being overdriven.
thanks. they sound a little better today. they sound great on my satellite radio but on a cd it sounds rough but i guess it could be the cd i will try another one.
