Mine never did when stock.

Hey,

How the hell do you keep traction?? If I hold the brake and give a little gas on the launch, i will sometimes spin all the way through 2nd gear... that is with my few mods... Id imagine you could burn through OD if you wanted to!

How is the traction?? How does your car feel?? I have an auto, so Id love a little review of the KB!!

I just got it so I haven't really launched it yet, or raced anyone except a viper gts, and got smoked. But it seems to get pretty decent traction, we'll see how how it performs when I actually start driving it. Theres a problem with something so I had to take it back to the dealership, I won't get it back til probably monday or tues.

Depends a LOT on ambient temp, road temp, tire quality and road condition. On one occasion, with my friend in the car, my car rear end actually broke lose when it shifted into second, as in the back fishtailed. On other occasions in the middle of summer with pretty high humidity, i couldn't even break lose from a stop. Now in winter I can spin through first if i don't let off.

Tire quality has a lot to do with it though, as well as road conditions.

I can chirp 4th (barely) under the right conditions with my 5-spd stock GT. For the most part i can get 2nd and 3rd gear no problem
