Do the hubs need to be pressed back to the drum?

I managed to seperate my original '67 brake drums from the hub. So, when installing the new drums, do they just slip over the hub or do they need to be pressed back in.

I also need to buy new wheel studs. Aside from matching up with the original pieces, what are the measurement specs of the stock studs?

Thanks in advance.

Eric

I was checking out my studs today and they are actually in ok/good condition, but they were beat to hell by a heavy sledge (this is how we got the hub to seperate from the drum). So, should I replace them?

Thanks for all responses!

I called around to get the studs replaced and they want around $50 bucks for both sides including studs!! I think that's a little steep. How about if I just tap out and in the old and new studs myself?

Does anyone know of a shop in the Los Angeles area that will not charge an arm and a leg for such a simple job?

Thanks

Eric
