Found these twisted wedge heads for sale for a good price. Can you tell me if anything looks wrong with them? Also are they ped or stud mount?

I'd be curious about the carbon deposits around the exhaust ports. If it leaked long enough it will have a tendency to burn away at the material. Looks good other than that. You never know though, could have bad valves/seats, guides, who knows...If the price is right though...

I found out that they are the old style ped mount heads that trick flow were having problems with so i'm going to pass on them.

I would pass. I do not think they make pedestal mounted heads any more.

Those heads had a bad reputation and even had a nickname because of the valvetrain issues.

I will never personally buy a used head again. When I bought my afrs I took em in to change the springs for my cam only to find out my valve guides were wore slap out. After I was told they were in good working condition. Luckily the machine shop caught it, they said the heads would have dropped a valve in short order.
