Does these pics look as if my AFR165 heads have shifted and "slid" down the deck of the block?
Do the heads where they meet the upper block rails (shown in pics) supposed to/typically meet exactly at the point where the deck angles off to the upper rails?
I just got done looking through all my motor pics and even though I got one showing my AFR's without the lower, it is not close enough to see the detail needed to compare.
I don't see how it would be possible for the heads to slide down the block.
AFR165's instructions call for 7/16" bolts (while AFR185, 205, 225 say 1/2" BTW). I have ARP 7/16" head bolts.
Thanks for all the help with the paranoia guys.... I won't waste any more of your time with this and put this thing back together (just in time for the snow.... ) I'm just so tired of the problems and constantly working on this... wanna get it right the first (second, oh wait third) time...
