ok a 1990 GT with a cobra intake, 1.7 rockers, E-cam, Mac cold air, pullies, on street tires that are only 225's, shortie headers, H pipe, stock exhaust

a 13.6 trap speed of 99 miles an hour

oh its a 5 speed would that be considered a good time or is there more in the car that i can get out of it ?

well im buying a car off of somebody who claims this time on it


so i was wondering if he was just a great driver or does the car realy run that

i agree with the 1.6 times on 225 tires doesnt add up

that would be a really good time, unless he has recipts of those parts i wouldnt even believe he has those parts in there, if the times dont add up maybe the parts arent correct either, not calling him a lier but just saying to check it out a bit more

umm.......1.60 60 ft on street tires......is a lil unbelievable to me..shrug..stock gears too?

13.6 is a great time, but imo, not with those mods, especially gears too.

fyi, my friend in his heavy ass 89 vert had a bone stock 240k mile longblock, stock heads/cam/and intake. He had underdrive pullies, a cold air intake, full exhaust, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, no front sway bar, 3.55 gears, and drag radials, and he was pulling consistent 13.7s.

your combo with rear gears and a good set of drag radials (which he didn't use) should be consisten for 12.8s to 13.1 at least. BS on the 60 time slip. something with those #'s he gave you doesn't match up.

there's a mild mustang at our local track with a nitrous kit and 4.56 gears.he run's 7.80 or a little better with slicks and his 60ft. is only in the 1.80s so somebody has been benchracing way too much.
