Do you believe this?

I run 15w50 Mobil one in the 418. After talking with my engine machinist he has done back to back engine dyno tests per customer requests and has seen no more than 5-7hp difference at the flywheel from 20w50 to 5w30. I dont believe the claim of: " An engine with thick 'oil' produces significantly less power, uses more fuel, produces more emissions and runs hotter"
 
QDRHRSE, no flames from me. I would preface that with saying that 302 stangs do tend to heat the oil up pretty good though - that is my main concern with dino oil. Dino oil can start to turn to asphalt ~270*F + (depending upon how long the oil stays at that temp). That is one place synthetics totally shine.
