Do you have to us mil eliminators for 98-up gt's

hey im am new here and I heard somewhere that you didnt have to use mil eliminators for my 98 gt and I wasnt sure and i was just wandering if that was true or not thanks for the help in advance.

I was going to put them in, but I never really got around to it. I havent noticed any problems yet, besides the check engine light always on.

I know on the 99+ having the check engine light on will make you car lose a little power. So it recommended that you use them if you have an O/R h or x pipe

Yeah I have a 2 1/2 in bbk off road h pipe and my buddy said I should use them. Thanks for the help

I've got a 97' gt and was also wondering if I have to install mil eliminators, or if I can just disconnect the o2 sensors completely, and go without them all together. I personally don't mind the ce light being on, so as I'm not losing any power and creating any performance issues do to it.

Trust me guys...install them. You will have really ****ty gas mileage if you don't.

where do i hook them up at?????..so the front o2 sensors stay plugged in?

You are about to get owned if you don't watch it newb.

Why don't you actually look at them? It isn't hard to understand it once you see how they fit in there.

EDIT: And yes, the front 2 STAY PLUGGED IN!!!
