Do you need quad shocks?

..Quad shocks..

Keep them if you can, and if you are doing mostly street driving. Remember, you need to change them, if they are old and rusty. Just remove them, and check for tight, firm
compression/decompression. IF you got a clearance problem, remove them, but bee ware of weelhop !
My friend got 4.11s ,FMS upper control arms, and Edelbrock lowers, FMS rear springs, and Poly Spring isolators, and he got weelhop problems after removing the Quads and installed the 4.11s. His running 275/50-15 tires, and got a rubbing problem (Welds,9" )
..and I run the same springs, Isolators, tires/Welds, but 3.73s and Steeda Billet lowers and Steeda Tube alu.uppers
with polys and I dont have any wheelhop problems...?
Could bee his 4.11s in combination with the hard, rubber bushings in the upper FMS control arms.
So, now he is using his old Wheels again(225/60s) and
installed the Quads for street use.
( removing the quads gives you a bit faster suspension travel, nice for track use...) just my .02 :)

Where did you guys get the poly bushings? Are they the ones that are thicker than stock? I need to bump my rear end up a bit to level out the ride. I was thinkin of slappin in a set of these poly isolator on the rear and being alright. Thanks!

Oh forgot, I just put 17x9 corba Rs on the rear with a 255-40 tire. I have 1/4in clearence between the rubber and the flipped quads. I tried running without them but I had alot of vibration when hard driving. It sucked. probably arms need to be replaced but no cash for that now. but I put the quads back on and it drives alot better even with the cheepo monroe quads.
