Do you park your car for the winter?

I live in CT. Nope. Granted I drive the 4wd truck on snowy days but I still drive mine year round. How about everyone else?

Hoping to put 15k+mi on the convertible this year. With most of that top down because as long as the sun is shining the top is down. Coldest to date has been 28' at dusk when I got home.

Just like the mustang convertible commercial from the superbowl.

Park it all winter. Way too much salt on the roads in northern michigan. I don't want my car to rust. Actually, It's been almost 18 months since I drove mine, cuz I couldn't spare $$$ for insurance and new wheels...I mean, I could just buy some cheap wheels, but I could never justify even spending $200 on wheels that I don't want.

Besides, parking the car makes it so much sweeter when you pull it out of storage in the spring. :D

I just never drive it in inclemet weather but it's the only car I drive most of the time if it's dry out. In the winter if it snow or there is salt on the roads, I usually don't pull out the Stang until there has been a good rain to wash off all the salt dust on the roads. :nice:
When I wash it in the winter I use a leaf blower to get out all the water in the cracks so it doesn't freeze up anything like door locks.

my Mustang is my toy / beater.
Oh man, that’s a terrible way to refer to your Mustang… a beater? I can understand the toy part, but I would never call it a beater.

I park mine from about Sept. to May because I go to school and have no reason to bring it with me as I have another vehicle. Besides, last year someone keyed my truck and slashed my tires… I would have died if that would have been my Mustang. Anyways, I have never driven my car in snow and couldn’t even imagine how bad that would be with the wide tires and no weight in the rear. :notnice:

i drive my 90 year round! Winter was much easier in a 94 with the ABS, and a lil more weight. Winter was real hard on it this year, and now I gotta paint all my trim because the salt f-ed it up.....any of you guys have any problems with the salt and crap messing things up come spring??
