I went to the track a couple of weeks ago and went 12.46@113.5 with a 1.87 60ft on nitto dr's. See sig for current mods. I have since then ordered a Mr.freeze methanol injection kit and an sct xcalibrator. I'm going to have the car tuned on pump gas with methanol on the dyno in a week or two. Do any of the gurus here think I will make enough extra power to pull off an 11.80-11.90 with a 1.7 something 60ft ? I also have an 80lb subwoofer box in the trunk which was in the car during the last track outing. It is custom made for the car so it is not an option to take it out unless somebody wants to buy it. I really want to post an 11 without race gas, slicks, or the box out to prove my car is an honest 11 sec street car. My buddy's evo ran 12.60@112 with bolt ons and plans to run more boost and race gas next time out so I have to spank him again without race gas to rub it in worse. Tell me what yall think.

I already have a tubular k member and a arms. I like bass and want to run it the way I drive it on the street. 80lbs isn't gonna give me more than a tenth.

Did you take out the spare tire, jack, and rear seat?

work on the shifts and you should get down to the low 12's right now. with the methanol kit you may hit a high 11 if you have a great run.

If you want it to be in the 11's just the way you drive it on the street, it sounds like you just need some more power Otherwise maybe some 15's w/slicks and pizza-cutters...take some seats out...but taking interior parts out is a ricer tactic You wanna be running 11's with full leather interior, A/C blowin', stereo blastin' ...For that I would say you just need to practice the heck out of your shifts, and maybe get a dyno tune instead of the mail-tune...or bump the boost up I don't really know man, I'm just talking outta my a$$

I figure if the methanol and a dyno tune will give me about 50 more hp (extra timing and less fuel), I can pick up a couple miles an hour. Then if I heat up the tires more and get a better launch I can get the 60ft down to a 1.7. That should shave another 2 tenths off. It should be just enough to get into the 11 second club.

Do you power shift ? I think with 50 extra horses and practice you could hit high 11's

I don't pwr shift normally because I don't want to mess up the tranny but if it comes down to it and I'm stuck at 12.00, I will do it.
