Had to ask this as my first question on the board. I've found a 87 LX Vert, 2.3L Auto. Body is in alright shape, could use some brightening but other than that. Top is a little rough, nothing major.

I've got 2 pics of the car, thus far as it was getting dark and starting to rain when i went and checked it out. The car will need the trans replaced (Owner is willing to do this, brand new trans going back in.) He's wanting $1k for it. Think its worth it?

Anyway, here are some pics.

is that a dirty/dull white or pale yellow? the pale yellow color is very rare. the main question would be: what are your plans for the car? if its anything performance oriented, forget the new automatic and try to get the car for a cheaper price. if you just wanna fix it up and tool around, it doesnt seem to bad. as long as you have thoroughly gone over it and its decent, why not?

Its a pale yellow. Sorry about the pics, they are crap. Thats part due to my camera and part due to lack of sunlight.

For now its just something to tool around in. I don't really have any performance goals as of the moment. The car looks great to me, aside from the fact that it looks like the paint is oxidized.

Thanks! Any more input is welcomed!

Unfortunately any plans i had of getting the mustang are now on the back burner. I'm still probably gonna get it at some point, just not right now.

Might even do some more looking and try to dig up a SVO or just a 5.0 LX.

Thanks ya'll. :SNSign:

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
