Do your brakes Make noise after upgrading to Cobra calipers and rotors?

I installed new Cobra caliper and drill/slotted 13" rotors. When I am driving slow or turning and also when I apply the brake I hear a slight clunking noise that wasn't there before installing the calipers and rotors. Anybody get any noise from their cobra brakes? Thanks

I got a ticking noise on mine after a couple hundred miles on mine... turns out the lugs started backing off and got to the point they werent even hand tight. YIKES!

I noticed no noise after installing my cobra brakes. I've never associated a 'clunking' with brakes, only squeeking. I would take the front wheels off and double check the caliper and braket bolts for tightness.

i did. try checking the dust shields. wait til the rotors are cool enough and stick ur hand back there and make sure theyre not hitting anything. had same problem, just bend em a lil.

Im glad someone asked my brakes are coming in tomorrow. But Wont install them till i have the tires for my roush wheels

Is the little pin that holds the caliper down still in?

Ya the pin is still in there I think maybe those cheap metal clips that hook to the brake pads for spacing could be the culprit, poor design!

Just got my Cobra brakes installed, front & rear, and they are super quiet. I couldn't be happier with the upgrade.

Are the rear dust shields necessary? I don't think I have any in the rear, but I'm almost certain there aren't any up front.
