Ditto, after about three drained batteries I finally dis-connected the wire to the visors. They worked fine but I never used/needed them on anyway.
mine were working but I took out the bulbs because my battery kept draining. The velcro holding the cover down lost its grip so it kept turning on the lights.
Mine work, the passenger side cloth is torn, probably from the previous owners wife.Maplight, dome, ashtray works, even the hatch stays up.
A sugestion to fix them: Try the ground, the lights are grounded to the screws and the metal arm on the visor. It could be corroded.
