A 99-01 CAI will not work (without modification) on an 02-04. The 99-01 has a hole for the IAT that the 02-04 models incorporated into the MAF, hense no extra hole. So, putting a 99-01 CAI is going to have a hole that would need to be plugged.

When i purchased my CAI ,i ordered it for an '03,and when it came in,it had the hole for the IAT.All i did is plug the hole of the rubber connecter that is attached to it.
