does a 6 disc mach460 system fit on a 98 non 6 disc mach460?

i was wondering if the 6 disc changer mach460 on the newer models would fit my 98 gt's whos also has a mah460 just not with the changer. i know i would have to get one of the newer center consoles to have the changer fit but would it hook up to the wiring system? in other words is the wiring system for the older mach460 (the one w/out the changer) the same as the newer one.
