I am looking around for 347 shortblocks and these guys seem to be the best priced I can find. Does anybody know anything about them?

I've talked to the guy a few times, but I have not bought anything from him yet. Been thinking about getting my intake (manifold) from him though...

Don't go to TREperformance! I bought an engine from them once and it was horrible. Rockers were cracked, springs were rusted, thread holes were stripped, even the threads for the oil filter were scarred. Lets also point out that the cam was severly scarred even though he advertised a remanned cam. It wouldn't hold a seal. He advertised it as drop in and go, but the whole thing would have had to be rebuilt. Then he refused to refund me, and I had to take him to court. The judge ruled in my favor, but he continued to harass and threaten me. Keep away from this guy, he is a con artist!!

This is the 100% truth. I will get flamed for this and will most likely get more threatening emails from the owner, but I have the pictures, court papers and emails to prove this all. I am not being vindictive, just want to warn everyone out there so you don't get anything like I got.

You can find some pictures at my photobucket site, there are some vague pictures, you can figure them out for the most part.

Now these pictures were taken by my mechanic. I am no expert, but even I could see there was something wrong, my mechanic refused to install it in the car because he is a friend and didn't want to drop in two engines...

Am I reading this correctly, did you buy an engine from us recently? I notice you brought up a post from the DEAD, I think this guy asked a question in 2004?!? I checked out your pics, looks like a stock headed engine? We don't even sell engines with stock heads. We ONLY sell engines with brand new AFR or Trickflow heads. We also do not sell reman or used cams, we only sell new custom cams from buddy rawls, trickflow shelf, and comp shelf cams. The only thing not "new" on any of our short and long blocks are the actual block, when not building Dart setups, and stock cranks when building 306 or 357 engines. We have over 6000 positive feedback from eBay, and we are direct MASTER distributors for AFR, Trickflow, MAC, Bassani, Walbro, Canton, Accufab, SPEC, C&L, RC Engineering, Probe, etc. We are not in business to rip off customers. If anyone has any questions about the products we sell or the engines we build, we are happy to answer any and all questions, and provide countless references for engine builds.

Yes I did buy the long block from TREperformance. If you don't believe me, ask your boss about the guy that took him to court and won. The heads are the ones that came on it. I was going through old posts and saw it and thought I would leave a warning for anyone out there not to get screwed like me. Lets not forget the physical threats I received in emails from Paul for speaking the truth. I should mention I keep all my emails forever so I still have copies of the emails. I am only speaking the truth and I have documents, pictures and facts to back them up, not a flame and you cannot argue this. Just looking out for fellow mustang owners in Southern California.
