This is going on my '88 5.0.
For the front I have CObra brakes and will be using the Baer eradispeed 1-peice crossdrilled rotors.
Out back i have SN95 GT brakes. I'm trying to find a quality crossdrilled rotor that will match the front in terms of looks. Can't seem to find anyone that makes one short of an ebay "cheapo" rotor.
I'm also debating upgrading my GT rear brakes to Cobra spec. I don't need the extra braking power but i'm trying to fill the empty gap in the wheels (will be black bullitts) with a larger rotor.
Short of buying the $190 FMS CObra conversion kit, what would I need to upgrade my GT brakes to CObra brakes? I understand i will need new rotors (i would get the baers to match the front) new pads and the axle mounting bracket. Are the anti-moan brackets the same?? WHat about the caliper bracket? I understand i'd need to grind the slot a little bit to accomodate the wider Cobra rotor
Another option is the Baer 13" Rear disk setup, which would take care of my bling bling aspect of things. Unsure if it's a quality brake though and have heard problems about the brakes clicking and the e-brake not working right with these.
PS. I know cross-drilled rotors are for looks only, but that's exactly what i'm going for here. It's just a street car

i think i'll just stick with the GT setup.
