Im rebuilding a 351W close to stock specs... does it matter what type or how much gph the fuel pump is? The pump im looking at now is a holley mechanical fuel pump,110 gph and the part # HLY-12-289-11. Would this be a good fuel pump for my build or should i go 80gph?

Why not just buy a stock replacement if that's all you need?

The high flow pumps (110gph is considered high flow for a mechanical pump and carb setup) will rob more power than the stockers will. It is not a big difference but you cannet get more flow with less work.

Agreed. The stock pump is actually quite capable, even after some engine upgrades.
