I was trying to find a link for the hood struts I just got to see if they make a "no drilling" kit for the Foxes since a few of you have PMd me to see where I got mine. When I was searching for them I found this one link on ebay and swear I recognize the red/black turbo Fox they use for their demo car. Dosent it belong to Turbofox or something like that?

That's it, C.J. Pony parts catalogue,E-bay motors store. Do you know how many sets of these we have sold for this guy. We have personaly taken people to their booth to purchase these . I'm phone calling for a free set for the new project, and hopefully they will agree. It is a great product, I just wish i would have thought of it. What da ya think?

Terry, can you make a progress page with pics of the black/red coupe build? Or does it exist somewhere on a different forum you could link me to? I remember you saying once you didn't document the two toned coupe build with pictures too much, but I'm sure I'm not the only on on here who'd like to see any you do happen to have. I'd love to see pics of how it looked when you first got it and see how it progressed from conception to show winner.

I don't have enough for a build thread, but I can give the short story. Kind of the complete opposite of Rusty. Searched online for a low mileage unmolested coupe to do a turbo car. found the car on e-bay, 2 owners, no mods, faded red paint(pink), low miles(24K), no intention of getting any attention. The car had a very bad looking wing attached with about 20 drywall screws, hence the fiberglass decklid. Bought the car about 5 hrs. away and drove it back in 30 degree weather with all the windows down cause it smelled like somthing dIed inside. Here are a few pics.

Drove the car about 60mi. from home to the dyno with this low mileage never molested block, unfortunately there was a mishap with the boost controller . First pull it spiked 17# of boost hit close to 700 rwhp and took the motor out right there. Sounded really cool, then all the fluids started running out of the bottom of the car. Had to get towed home. Spent a bunch of money got everything straight. First time the car came out was at FFW @ Norwalk 2004, saturday night there was a note on the windshield from 5.0 magazine for a photoshoot, since then it's been a labor of love to improve. When i look at the 5.0 article in 2005 til now I can't believe it made the book.
