Okay, not to stray off topic but I noticed on the 2 red pics that you guys appear to have the same problem as mine...

Why couldn't Ford finish painting the engine bay?

Kilgore...how do you get your engine so clean...i havent tried as mine has 13k on it, but i would like to, and i am also worried about having problems. You just spray the SG on and let it work then lightly spray off or what? thanks man.

Hey hey now, all that dirt is from driving at Mach. You should see what happens when I hit Mach 2, it's rediculas. I'm telling you breaking the sound barrier in a Mustang just plays havoc with cleaning..

Oh and I called the number today, all got was a receponsist at the parts desk who knew nothing of what I was talking about. She said she would transfer me to a tech and I got transferred to a lady's voicemail. I'll try again later.

Ok, so I've called back three times. The first time I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes (before I called back again, that is not how long I was hold.) I reached the secretary once again (who is about as freindly as a bag of rattlesnakes), and asked to speak with a Tech. She said "we are not allowed to give them the phone." Alright, I then informed her that everytime I call I get transferred to a voicemail system of a different person and that I would like to speak to someone in person, not a machine. So what does she do, she transfers me to another person's voicemail. I swear, I am going to call back every 15 minutes, and get some of my friends to do the same if I do not get an answer within the next call.

Just called and asked my local dealer if there was a TSB, they checked my VIN and I setup and app. on March 7th to bring it in for replacement. (nothing's wrong with my current one, and they didn't ask either) I have untill 4/28/06 (they said there is a 7 year point from when you purchased the veh) Glad I read this thread!

Gosh that sounds like the typical extended warranty to me... Once they have your money, they do not want to have anything to do with you. I bet that sticker cost a thousand dollars plus interest to the original owner

Yeah, I asked about that and he stated it would be a 1 day thing. Does anyone have a copy of the TSB, or know where I can find it? I just want to be sure they aren't going to charge me anything for replacing the intake. I'll definitely tell them if it costs anything not to do any work. but anyone here have their's replaced without any problems? Mine works fine, I just want it replaced 'just in case.'
