Does your tranny have a tag on it

i got a 02gt and the dealer said the wont warrnty the tranny cause its a different tranny in the car than stock, he said he knows its different cause theres a tag on it, is this true, the only (tag ) on there that i saw is a tremac tag

mine has a Tremec sticker wrapped around it....

mine has a Tremec sticker wrapped around it....

They should all have a stamped metal tag on them (even stock) unless they changed it after 99. I even have the tags on my 89 bronco.
