doing harmonic balancer for first time

Pete he's got an adapter stuck in the crank.

I wouldn't have messed up the shaft at all getting the adapter out I have the bolt in at 90 foot pounds

ok now teach me 28 spline axles and putting in my 410 gears ready go lol and axle seals

Gears are beyond my tools and skills, ambitions. Axles, seals and brakes I can handle.

ok so I start it up and I got this horrible sound almost like a fast ticking sound I'm scared to keep it running I have the shorter belt for smog delete 84.5 idk if I did damage taking out that adapter

Take the belt off and start it up to see if the tick goes away

Measure from the oil pan (below the bolts) to the back of the balancer.
