Don't buy MAC equal length headers, They suck to install.

Well I have the equal length shorties and if they ever need to be replaced I will be going to unequal length shorties as they are just easier to deal with and the loss in hp is not worth the hassle of the equal lengths.

Yea I was young and dumb when I bought the equal length. I'm old and dumb now but will never buy another set. I'm curious if I remove mine to coat them if they will hold their shape after being installed for so many years? Like having to pry each flange for the bolts to line up on aluminum heads it not something I can do.

Don't know, I purchased an H-pipe on line ( I will try to find the company) and everything bolted right up with the LMR tailpipes..
Shorty headers were not around when I was young so these were my first experience with them and they are so nice...
I can't imagine fighting equal lengths unless you have a full out race car going for .10 of a second quicker time....

Those look really good and I didn't know how little difference the two headers actually made. I love the coating on yours.

LOL $81 dollar headers on Amazon... Not bad huh...
I never ran the car with them as a set of Ford performance headers came up for my " P " heads that I purchased just because.... The fit seems NO better than my $81 dollar ones.....

I can't remember who I purchased my H-pipe from,, I want to say GCAR out of New jersey?? Sounded like a very small company.. Very nice product and it fit great... Could not find them with a search....
And whoever invented the " ball and socket" connection deserves the " Nobel peace prize" ......

What a steal! Curious how long the coating lasts? My headers don't leak they just look bad. I might go the Eastwood route again. I had a rusty set for another car years ago which I coated with this header coat paint Eastwood use to sell. It came out great and lasted for years. Yes the ball and socket is nice! My off road H pipe was from Jegs or Summit.
