well the CARB number is given based on the pulley size. what my buddy with the cobra did was get a SCT tuner and he has 3 programs. the first is an economy program, mostly for smog. the second is the street program for using 91octane with a 3" pulley making 17#s of boost. the third is a race program for 117octane with a 2.5" pulley making 21#s of boost. when you get your KB or whatever blower you plan on using, use the larger pulley when you take it in for smog.
