DONT ORDER FROM RPM OUTLET

i feel ya man. i been ripped off exactly in the same way, but when it happened to me i waited 1 and 1/2 months with no parts and NO refund. everytime i called the guy ignored my calls and also hung up on me when he heard my voice... that was just too much....so i began raise hell everywhere and try to run the guy's business into the ground...

that kinda sh itt sucks. give it a little more time. Best of luck gettin your parts.

I only buy from Mustangs Unlimited or places like that , that have been in business for years. I was also burned once from buying from certain places in magazines. All you can do is live and learn.

This thread is almost two weeks old....and since there have been no updates, my guess is that he's probably recieved his parts. That being said.....No offence dude, but don't be such a hot head about this. Once it's left RPM's warehouse, it's in the hands of the shipper from that point, not the supplier. Thems the brakes dude, sit down, have a beer, chill out and wait for your parts like the rest of us!

And before this thread goes any further, I suggest posters heed this statement.

What makes you think anyplace would have been able to honor a 2-day delivery during Easter Weekend anyway? Not to mention once it's left RPM's warehouse, it's in the hands of the shipper from that point, not the supplier.\

3-27-07 Is when it was started so I'd assume the order was placed before 3-27-07 and as such well before Easter ... Either way it's a shippers issue if the package left RPM.

dude you are a ****ing idiot. you shouldnt mod your car if you rely on it on a daily basis. It takes time for the whole process to go through, they dont have a FIDANZA flywheel sitting on their back counter just waiting to go out 2nd day. most vendors have most of their items drop-shipped to your door from the manufacturer, do you honestly think they stock every part for every mustang on their back shelf? hell, RPMoutlet is probably a two office suite with no back room. YOU need to anticipate lead times for parts, not everything revolves around your needs.

everytime ive bought stuff from them it always comes at the right time. ive probably spent around 1200 dollars or more from rpmoutlet and never had a problem. But yea it has only really been 2 business days.

A simply web search would have turned up literally hundreds of complaints against RPM Outlet.

A little research goes a long way before ordering parts from any online source. Just because they have the best price doesn't mean it's your best bet. A little Google search is your friend in matters such as this...

U.M.

Well I am adding to this.

I ordered their Big Air kit for the 4.6L 2V Mustang GT and they sent me parts that were not pictured so I sent them back. They gave me the in store credit and everything was ok.

So I reordered, and this time spoke to them on the phone to order specifically the BBK throttle body and C&L Plenum. They sent me the Professional Products versions once again, the SAME reason I sent the last one back. This is absurd. They said they would send me a pre-paid UPS label and I am waiting on it in the e-mail right now as I type this. I just sent the e-mail about 10 minutes ago.

We'll see how they handle this. All I ask is for the right parts, just once.

so i shouldnt mod my car? what should i do? should i take them off? not everyone is fortunate enough or has enough money to have a DD and another car.... its my DD and it's got mods, but I also dont take anything apart until I get what i want to put in...rule of thumb-never start the installation before you have the new part:nono:

:stupid: Mine's a DD but I don't start tearing it down until I have the following:

1. Parts
2. Detailed instructions along with print outs from SN or other forums detailing even more instructions

3. All the tools necessary (see print outs from SN or other forums).

Update on my plight: I got the UPS pre-paid shipping that they promised me and I am going to drop it off to ship out tomorrow which means that they should get it back Monday or Tuesday.

What are the odds that they send me back the wrong brand of parts again? I am thinking very high.
