Some will say that this is not tech related...I say it is....kinda.

Don't you hate when you have used all available funding for your car, but you have the urege to do so much more...and you have to wait. Like me, I am ready to do body and wheels....but the new suspension ate everything ($$$)up.

My problem is time, I've still got sooo much to do on my project and I only get about 6 hours a week to work on it. I've only about $1K worth of parts to go but I've got over 200 hours of work to do...sigh.

Ahhh, the classic problem time or money but never both. I have been on both sides. It always seems that whichever situation I am in the other is better

I have the same problem in my other interests: fly fishing, golf, skiing etc. I wouldn't say that I HATE making choices; I'm just glad that I can!

I look at the money challenge as a filter. It separates those who want a killer Mustang from those who just think they want one. I've found out how badly I want this car finished, and done right over the past 18 months. First, I'd set aside what I felt was a reasonable amount of money to finish the car before I started. But as I found out, it wasn't enough. Since then I've sold things that I swore I'd hang onto forever (funny how short forever is) on ebay, worked a ton of overtime, done a couple side jobs and basically done whatever I could to keep the project going. Momentum is everthing in a car project. Once the wife starts stacking boxes on the car, it's over. I try to work about 20 hrs per week on the car when I can. There are plenty of labor-only things on any project that can be done while waiting for more money. My wife has been great during the whole thing, and thankfully understands that my hobby could be worse. I don't drink, smoke, gamble or chase women, and I also try to balance out some family time since it is only a car after all. Damn! Did I say that out loud??? What was I thinking?

because you have to have money to fix things that are broke....and usually most of us need advice to fix the broke things...and since having no money is the same as being broke....

and I posted it here just to see if someone would start a disagreement or an argument.....
