door gap problem

hey everyone whats up in new here just picked up my first mustang end of summer i love it but i dont love the fact that i have gaps between the doors and the 1/4 glass theres about 1/2" gap is there a different door from 88-89 and 90-93?

Should be the same. The older 85-86 had different moldings, but 87-93 should all be the same. Check you hinge pins, they're probably worn to hell... replace them (and any overly worn hinges) and then readjust your doors. It's 3 bolts that you loosen and then move it around to where you'd like it.

sounds like you need to replace the bushings in your doors. does the door have up and down play when it is open?

no theres not really any up and down play and as for pics i tryed but it wasnt uploading my picture ill try again later tonite

ouch... thats pretty nasty looking..

My first thought was about the up-down play in the door.. like does the door drop down a bit after you open it.. but since you say it doest... i've got nothing usefull to add.

I would pull up on the end of the door when its open, if it moves up an down you'll probably want to replace the pins and bushing and hope to god the holes arent ovaled out.
