I have a 68 coupe. This week-end a replaced the screwa around the door latch. I only had 1 screw in there and figured I lost the other 2. So I when down to the hardware store and got 3 screws that were close. The only difference is that the were probably an inch long. After putting them in, I shut the door and haven't been able to open it since. I've tried both inside and outside handles, but no luck.. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

If the replacement screws were longer than the originals and closing the door made metal to metal contact, you are either going to have pry the door open or remove the door panel from the inside and see if you cannot remove the door from the hinges.

The bottom screw is probably binding the actuating lever. You will have to remove the door panel and reach in with a screwdriver and try to pry the actuating lever up off of the screw where it is binding.

Try pushing in the button to open the door while

bumping the door with the flat of your hand pretty firmly all around that area, ya might even try lifting up and down and pushing in and out while bumping it. Its probably in a bind maybe that`ll help.....
