Hi Everyone,

I am replacing my clutch in my 02 V6. Bought OEM clutch kit (LUK 07-114) and flywheel (LUK LFW368) as a package. However, the dowel pins on the flywheel are larger than the holes in the pressure plate. Anyone had this issue before? This is exactly why I bought everything together (Amazon). Help would be appreciated. Not sure if I should remove the dowels and replace them or something else.

Best,
Daniel

I had issue with luk also. You maybe able to make the holes larger to fit dowels.

You can either buy step pins or run them down to a machine shop and have them turned down to fit the pressure plate. They aren't all that hard.

Ended up talking to the manufacturer tech support. They confirmed that all of the ones they have instock were wrong. Pins too big for matching pressure plate. Ordered another brand and it worked great.
