Dr. Gas X conjunction.

The powergain with the DR Gas over the other XPipes is the location of its X.. So you are just as well buying another type of XPipe if you are going to go that route... why not just take your hpipe down and put the full dr gas system up?

Welding in the Dr. Gas conjunction in your H pipe is going to show nominal, if any gains IMO. Why spend all that money for ~2-3 more peak hp? Just leave the exhaust alone, its not worth the cost over what you already have.

To weld in the Dr. Gas conjunction you would need to modify the H to the point where it would cost you about the same to buy the X-pipe and have it installed. The H connection further back by your U-joints where the Dr. Gas X fits just behind the flywheel or torque converter.

Here's a better idea of what it looks like. Hope it helps

Isnt flowtech pretty much crap?

And pretty much im not talking about putting the dr. gas X where it goes on the dr. gas X pipe but where most conjunctions go at. All I would do is cut out the H part and weld in the X.

If you look at the shape of the X pipe and H pipe you will realize why everyone is saying just put the whole thing on. Yer gonna have to take the H Pipe off your car anyway to weild in the new part, so why not put th ewhole X up there?

Will this work with an auto?

Nope, Flowtech X-pipe I believe only works with a 5spd. In the past all I heard were horror stories when people would install Flowtech X-pipes on their car. That was the route was going until then. Ended getting the Dr. Gas put on, installed it myself with clamps and had it welded for $20 later that day. Just buy a new pipe and sell your H-pipe. Much easier in the long run.
