Drag Launch Springs

Draglaunch springs for 2005+ Mustang GTs

are they worth buying? I just ordered the BBR radiator support/ front sway bar delete. I would to add the springs with it.

If I put on the Drag Launch springs, what else do I have to buy in order to have them installed?

As far as I know nothing needs to be bought. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get LCAs and UCAs though.

I was also wondering, Can the springs be painted red?

I want to break into the 12's. I ordered the radiator support/front sway bar delete. I'm in the process of getting these drag launch springs. I'm also getting the Spydershaft in a couple of weeks.

Will that be enough?

The mods you have already and the ones you are wondering about should easily get you in the 12s! The biggest holdup people are having with these cars are the track prep, weather and skill. In hot and humid TX, you are facing the weather enemy.
I would definitely go with UCA and/or LCA to help improve your launch as much as possible along with the springs and DS. That way you can try and muscle your car off the line before the heat sucks the power out and kills your runs. Just make sure you know that when you put drag springs in your car and start deleting suspension components that it changes the way it behaves on you daily driving out on the street

My culprit is the launch as I still have radials, stock control arms and DS. If I can get money to replace those(hopefully next year)I know I will be running mid to high 12s.

I don't really mind about how the car handles in daily driving. I drive the stang every other day, and when I do drive it its parked outside most of the day. that and I don't carve corners here and there.

I didn't really want to get UCA's and LCA's. I'm afraid that they'll squeak. One day I'll probably get them. But since i'm running on stock gears and its an Automatic, they just don't seem like a priority over the other mods that I want.

I will do 410's after these next 3 mods.

As long as you get control arms with poly bushings and zerk fittings, you shouldn't have any squeeking.

Agreed. Are you lowering tire pressure? There is a guy that runs at Orlando Speed World and throws down consistent 12.70-12.80s with just a tune and intake. The guy can drive, no doubt.
