what goal are you trying to get? What was your 60' on the run? Were you using street tires?

Stock you should be pulling a 14.5 or so. Does the car feel like its fast. Or is it not running right? I would think you would be in the 12's with that combo with a decent driver.. My guess is something isn't setup right.. Even if your 60 ft times suck your mph should be at least 100 mph with your setup. Your heads might be a little big for a 306, you will have to spin it higher to get all the power out of it. I'm building a 393 and was recommended to get 190cc runners by the guy who built the heads.

On the street it feels like its pretty fast I had a 93 cobra that had a lot done to it and it was in the low 12s. And to me it feels like this car is faster but the times are not showing it honestly I have a lot of money in this car and could prolly tack it up higher but don't no how high I can go safely i also have spray but don't no how much the cast pistons will take

Where are you shifting the car? Might wanna take it to a shop and just get 3 pulls on on the dyno just to see where you are at. Cause if you think it's running good it should be much faster than the timeslip is showing.

Plus you could see where the motor stops making power, so you have a better idea where to shift.

The Funnel web is killing it, that intake is great for 4000-9000rpms and the low mph indicates the motor is not making power. Can you post a timeslip or the incrementals?
Personally a rpm air gap would be fine on that combo and would give a much broader torque curve, and the car needs more gear 3:55s are not going to get you to your goal. What do you have for headers and exhaust?

yes I agree.. If the motor was making the proper amount of power the mph would be well past 100 mph..

Yeah you are going to need better gears and intake. are you running a stock t5? a stock t5 is only good up 330 ft lbs. if you are going to drag race you will need to upgrade your tranny as well. I would recommend a tko 600 with the shift kit. the shift kit has corbon fiber lininngs on the inside of the brass syncro and the stock plastic shift keys are replaced with brass ones. with this you can actually take it to the track and speed shift it without using your cluth. This will also cut down your time as well. We have guys doing this all the time and no probloems. plus its rate to 600 ft lbs of torque so you wont break it.

I've seen t-5's take abuse.. I've also seen them not.. Drive it till it breaks.. Maybe it won't..I replaced mine with a g force t-5 cause I shredded 3rd gear..

Thanks for the info I can't find my time slip but I am in the process of putting 373 gears in it then I'm gonna take it to the dyno and get a better idea I have added a 150 shot lol I'm not sure were I was shifting probaby to low rpm due to the fact my tack stopped working right and my buddy I ran against has his slip supposed to give it to me he said I was wrong my mph was 102

102mph is a low 13 second car... Much better than a high 15 car..

Two things, 15.75 means there is an obvious lack of traction (unless you're just creeping off the line) and 102mph indicates that the engine is not making as much power as it should. What city are you in, Stang87306?

Do you race in Birmingham? I was trying to think of where there may be a local shop to help you with your setup.
