drag radials

Okay went to the local speed shop to order nitto 555r drag radials and they said there discontinued till august 14th...I need tires NOW so they said there goin to order me the bfgoodrich g-force drag radials....Do any of u guys have them or have heard about them? Are they as good as the Nitto's?

If you plan on the tires lasting more than 10k miles (actually from what I hear they last closer to 6k miles), I would not get the bfg dr's.

As far as traction goes, they are better than the nitto's...espically at the track.

What he said. I have been in line at the track with people with near bald BFG's and asked about them and was told they only had 3 - 4000 miles on them. But, they are supposed to grip better. You probably don't have to heat them up so much though with a long burnout like I think you do with the Nittos. They may be more forgiving for a more inexperienced driver. I would check Ebay. I sold a set on there this past spring...got good money for them too.

thanks man yea I dont care how long they last really...I'm throwing some Falkens that I had on the car a while back on the front ....so when the drag radials are done the Falkens will be done around the same time.

Do what I'm doing and wait fir the Mickey Thompson D/R's to come out in August - Trust me, they are going to put Nitto and BFG's to shame they are so sticky!!! Put it this way, I was at a car show and they had one to show off, I felt it and it left fingerprint marks!! They are gunna hook like a mofo!

go to www.discounttiredirect.com i just ordered mine from there last week & they had plenty of the nitto drag radials

Where are you going to be able to get these?? Sounds bad.
Any of you guys have probs running DR's. Like with the axles??

I have the BFG DR in 315..they hook like MFs...even new the thread is far from being thick too...
