Drag wheels for a Cobra

Will a 15" drag wheel fit on the rear of a 96-98 cobra? Do they clear the brakes? Does anybody run slicks on their Cobra? Please tell me that I don't have to run a 16" slick....those are very expensive.

I'm not sure about 96-98 Cobra's, but I do know that you cannot run slicks on a Cobra with IRS. Not sure why though.

15x10 with a 6.5 " BS will work as that is whatI run. You need to grind a little on the calipers, but they will work. You can also use a 15x8 with a 5.5" BS.

The reason I wouldnt ever use slicks on a stock IRS is the fact slicks will destroy the half shafts

Thanks. Do the 10's completely tuck in? The lightning is the same way. You have to take a little off the calipers. Thanks. I'm not sure that I'm willing to do it. I can get 16" slicks and wheels.

I havent had them on the car yet as I got sent away with the Army Reserves for Uncle Sam.
