Oh, does anyone know the name of the company that was making Southside control arm knockoffs? I heard Southside went out of business, and those are the arms I wanted to get. Thanks!

If you are on a budget, get:
-15x3.5 weld prostars in front (only one BS available)
-I used a 155/75/15 kumho tire from tire rack works fine.
-7/16 spacer for the front wheels. Mr gasket ones will do. I have had these for 10,000 miles and not had a problem. This is for GT brakes, if you have cobra or any 13" brakes, get a 1/2 spacer
-3" studs for the front with OPEN ENDED lugnuts (centerline brand)
now you have an option for the rear
-15x10 with a 6.5 BS and run a 28" tall M/T et street (not radial) tire (taller than stock)
or
15x8 with a 5.5" BS and run a 26" M/T et street (not radial) (same height as stock, keep abs working most would choose this option will be more than enough traction)
-cllosed lung nuts (centeline brand)
or
-3 inch studs fro the rear (some track require the stud to go through the lugnut when running slicks)
-open ended lugnuts (centerline brand)
Edit: Notes: front and rear studs are not the same, call summit and find out which are correct. I can't remember off the top of my head. front 3" studs are necessary with the spacer unless you give in to everyone else on this board and get hubcentric spacers for $200 instaed of the $15 mr. gasket ones.
I have the 3.5" fronts with a 15x10 rear and 275/50/15 M/t et street radials. My Tires rubbed on my tailpipes, and I had to have them bent to clear. Cost like $10 bucks at an exhaust shop.

If you really want to be cool and had some $$ to do this right, I would get both the 15x10 and 15x8 rims. Put a 26" slick on the 15x8 and get a set of 295/50/15 tires for the 15x10 rims and runn the skinnies all the time. I do and have never had a problem. I checked my 60-0 distance with my d-pic gauge and my braking distance went up 1.2 feet over stock with the skinnies. And to justify the extra expense, you could sell the wheels you have now, the 295/50/15 tire is only $95, the front are only $26 each. You will be different than 99% of mustangs out there. They will give you a tough drag car look all the time on the street. You will never have to mess with taking the fronts off before track time, and the car will always look the same. They will end up saving you $$ in the long run b/c of the reduced tire cost. That is how I looked at it. I get compliments about the ALL the time. Everyone says it is the most badass look on a stang. Believe me, run this combo and you will never look back.

if you want to do it on the cheap, go wrecking yard shopping for a T-Bird SC and buy the spare tire from the trunk....then find another and do the same. They are lightweight aluminum and skinny...15" welds for the rear. M/T's on the rear

I run 15x3.5 convo's in the front with a 7/16 spacer. and 15x10 convo's in the back with a 26x10.5 et street bs ain't just right but I got a steal of a deal on them.

Oh I forgot if you want a cheap setup look at the bart racing wheels they are steel but they are light. I have a set of those too.
