Well i mentioned in another thread about my adventures with fitting my new rims, but i figured i would designate a thread to show how they look and what was involved.
To make a long story short, i ordered 15x10 6.5" b/s Draglites and 28x11.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time Pro's. Summit got the wheel size right, but sent me 28x13.5x15 tires instead! I asked for advice on this, to see if they would fit, but most on stangnet said i wouldn't be able to. Before i went ahead and sent them back i decided to take a chance and try to fit them.
After about 1 hour of pounding per wheel well and 1/4" spacer i got them to fit! I have driven the car around town and have no rubbing what so ever. This may be a new record on stangnet for the largest tire on a fox without mini-tub or 4-link suspension. I did have to remove my tailpipes and run dumps. I also have tubular upper and lower control arms and an airbag (which is deflated during the fit process). This would be impossible with quad shocks, and if i decided to keep the tailpipes i would've had to pound them in. I didn't want to restrict the flow so i opted to run dumps. Maybe there is another way to run tailpipes with this setup, but i couldn't find an alternative to pounding them in.
Attached are a few pics of the install and the fit. I am very happy i decided to take a chance with the larger tires....i am very pleased. Tell me what you all think!

wow that's amazing. I don't see any pics Also, any reason why your sig writing is in silver? With the standard stangnet colors, it's unreadable unless you highlight it...

EDIT: I see the pics now

I replied on your other thread -- but my question is answered here finding out you have an airbag.

Long studs are the only other thing I would be concerned with while using those spacers (even without the spacers).

Other than that -- looks good.

I prefer the tire all the way under the car, but I don't think anything over about 12" will do that without tubbing it.
