Draining bad gas from a neglected 09 GT Via Fuel Pump Opening

I have a 2009 Mustang GT that I have let sit for 3-4 years. It was running fine before I parked it. I have to drain the bad gas from the tank and was going to use the fuel relay trick but then when I pulled the back seat for cleaning I noticed that the fuel pumps are there. Removing the drivers side fuel pump seems to be easy and would give me easy access to pump out the gas. I could even eyeball the bottom of the tank and maybe try to partially clean it. The problem is that I have little experience with cars. I've done brakes...once...and that is about it. I have been binge watching channels like South Main Auto for a few years for whatever that is worth. My worry is that I'm missing something since it seems so easy to drain the tank by removing the fuel pump and putting my syphon hose directly into the tank yet none of the sites/vids I watched ever suggested it. I don't know if they have single use gaskets or are best left alone for other reasons like exposing it to the air can damage it or maybe it's very prone to breaking when removed from the tank. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open the hood, disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel rail (get the necessary tools if you do not already have them).
Hook a length of rubber fuel line to the end and bypass the pump relay to run the in-tank pump continuously.
Make sure you have enough gas cans to finish the job and ensure you have a simple method of depowering the pump once you've begun.

Check that the attachment below is the same as the one in your car (having a really tough time finding a CCRM pinout for a 2009 for some reason).

If it is a match:
Verify voltage using a volt meter between pins 10 or 11 and pin 5.
Jumper pins 10 or 11 to pin 5 to run the fuel pump constantly.

Does anybody have the exact location of the CCRM on a 2009?

Thanks. I was looking under the hood for where to disconnect a fuel line but I'm not seeing much. I know the previous owner had done some racing type mods so idk if that changes anything. I've attached a pic of the driver side of the engine with me pointing at what I think is the fuel line. I'm probably mistaken but it looks all metal and I don't see anything to disconnect. There is that black hose above where I am pointing but it looked like that went to brake system. I've also attached a pic of the whole engine bay if that helps. Thanks

Thanks. I'm having some trouble finding it though. I've traced the fuel line from the rail to deep down into the engine bay but it doesn't look like it connects to a part that looks like a regulator. I've searched and searched for the video of someone replacing a regulator on a 2005-2009 Mustang GT but the only one was a guy who was replacing the regulator sensor, though he called it a regulator.

I've attached an image of where the line from the fuel rail pipe/hose ends. I've even watched videos on replacing it for other cars but it didn't help. Can you see the regulator in either of the images in the first post? Am I just way off base? Thanks.
