Drip Rail Moulding Weatherstrip/Sealer

Does anybody know where to get the rubber that goes between the roof edge of the car and the Drip Rail Moulding?

I have searched the mustang parts places and can't find it. Is it just a 1" strip of thin weatherstripping that goes in there that I could go pick up at Home Depot?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i used the adhesive back stuff you can buy just about anywhere...cj's carries the "right" product (i doubt it has the cloth back) but at a buck a foot, im more than happy with the generic.

I bought some long rolls of emblem tape by 3M made for automotive uses. IIRC, it doesn't retain moisture.

I will check those out, thanks for the info, thought I was missing something by not seeing it at any of the mustang parts places.

According to the guy at NPD, most people use the 3M caulk-strip stuff that goes between your fenders and innner aprons. I'd already bought a box of that when I installed my front fenders, so I used it for there as well. Worked great, since it kinda squeezes out to where it needs to be.

i used closed cell foam camper shell weatherstrip, it was the closest i could find to original that wouldn't retain moisture

I got a magazine in w/ a box of parts when I bought my car a short time back.
The mag. is by www.texasmustang.com and it has a lot of the rubber parts like your talking about. Off hand I don't recall seeing exactly what your looking for but they may have it, I need it also on mine.
