Drive Shaft question...HELP PLEASE!

Hello, in my efforts to have my car road ready by the end of the weekend, I am hoping someone can measure the drive shaft length as I have more mods to correct. Turns out the tranny in my car is a mini C-6, and is 5 inches longer than the FMX tranny. It is also using smaller u-joints. I am having the transmission rebuilt as we speak, (the FMX), and it will be ready tomorrow. Given I am running a stock 351W with a stock FMX tranny as of tomorrow, can someone please tell me the measurement of the driveshaft from center to center of u-joints, as well as the length of the yoke?

Or as an alternative, are there any other cars with the same length drive shaft that I could get from a wrecker? Thanks.

I have my driveshaft out now of the 351/FMX combo and the measurements are below.

Drive shaft center to center of the u joints = 50.5"
Center of u joint to end of the yoke is 8.5"

I would try a local shop and they should have the information also and could fab you one. Good luck!

Great, thank you for such a quick response. One more question, do you have the measurement of the width of the U-joint, outside of cap to outside of cap where it bolts onto the diff? Thanks again.
