Last time I got my car tuned it was pouring asses so I did not get a chance to do any driveabilty to speak of. I have a pretty significant amount of take off jerking/bucking. The car runs great, it is cold blooded but that is most likely the E85. I want to get the driveablility smoothed out and i have had no luck finding anyone in my area to do so. I dont see why this cant be done via remote as I am strictly want the non boost tune looked at

Anyone now a tuner to contact?

I've done remote sessions with Mike Moran in the past and had phenomenal results. The man is simply unbelievable and worked on the software development for BS3 not to mention he is a very personable guy. He schedules remote tuning sessions with guys all over the world and is no stranger to tuning over the phone. I will aslo say that Patrick from PTP is also a very good option as he is a very cool guy as well that really knows his stuff.

Isn't that the truth. We spent some time hanging with him and Jason Lee at PRI and they are both just good guys! The funniest part of the week was having Patrick in our Vortech booth wearing his procharger neck lanyard and jason lee signing the back drop for Vortech, lol ( Sorry for the Hijack)

I read this book before i put megasquirt on my car, it helped a me out quite a bit.

You seem to be pretty smart, i think you could pick it up no problem. It is pretty intimidating at first, but it isnt very hard. I always save a backup file before i make major changes.
I have the same book, also another one by Greg, I forget what it's called. Definitely helped me understand it better, but I don't really have the time to dive into tuning at the moment.

My car is also pretty grumpy till it warms up. Ive tried messing with it with no real luck. I got it livable by adjusting the idle screw so the IAC wasn't pegged during warmup. Its a real tough balance with my car that has a good amount of plenum volume, a large throttle body, and small IAC. I think i had it almost as good as it could have been with my old throttle body
