drivers side window wont roll up or down! help please!

the other day when i was installing the solenoids for my shaved door handles on my 64, i rolled the window down and it seemed kinda tough to do and when i tried to roll it back up the window crank just spun freely and the window wouldnt move. However, I can slide the window up and down with my hands. any ideas on whats broken? I'm stuck

Have you checked the teeth on your handle and your window regulator?

They sometimes tend to wear very easily. They should really be heat treated from the factor.

Your rollers are busted and have come off the track. Easy fix, I think it's 2 rollers per door window and they're probably $1 each. They're typically orange and have a spring clip.
