ok im tired of the same old drives so this winter me and my friends are going to be looking at maps and driving as many of the roads on tose maps that look good to drive . if anyone knows of roads less traveled that might be a good drive. at speed or not(just some really nice views/picture ops) im just looking for roads for next summer.

Funny you should mention that. Cory had an awesome one that he coordinated earlier this year. We really need some more of these things, they are a blast!

Take a look at Fort Stevens and Astoria. There are some cool places to stop and hang out. The view of the Columbia River from the Astoria Column is pretty good. Hwy 26 to Fishhawk Falls Hwy to Hwy 202.

A cruise to the Mt. St. Helens Interpretive Center would be pretty cool.

I've done this before. Sure interested in hearing other suggestions.

Wow, that looks pretty sweet. Try to keep it under 100 miles so those of us who guzzle race gas, don't need to schedule a tanker truck to follow!

Another good one is the Ceder Creek Rd which starts around Amboy area and flows back down to the Columbia River basin area..total trip is about 65 miles...plenty of turns and wide open areas. Very little traffic and some great sites...we'll take this route next April for the 3rd annual meet :nice:
