well....
i have a drivetrain vibration that i havent been able to figure out for a while. i changed to an aluminum one, which lessened it slightly.
it still has a vibration and a clicking noise. in order to get it to click, i have to keep it in gear at higher rpms (around 3k). if i let off and push the gas again, it will make a click noise, as if the engine it torquing something to the side.
it also happened once when i was stopped at a railroad crossing. the road was slightly tilted back, and it was in neutral. when i let off the brake and put it into drive, it clicked.
i had the bushing in the back of the tranny replaced a couple months ago, and the guy had to drop the tranny crossmember (is that the name?) and check the tranny mount. he said there was no problem with it.
recently the car likes to rattle (as if it is really old), especially when the ac is on, much more than when i first got it. it only has 60k miles on it =/.
any ideas? thanks.
